What is AlerTrax?
AlerTrax is a compact, versatile and waterproof device that uses advanced GPS, WiFi and LTE technology to accurately track the location of your assets. It works both indoors and outdoors, providing real-time updates on the movements of your valuables. AlerTrax is a perfect solution for trailers, construction equipment, small boats, ATVs, motorcycles, and any other valuable asset that you want to keep safe.
How does it work?
Using a combination of GPS, WiFi (5Ghz and 2.4GHz) and LTE technology to track the location of your assets. The device has a built-in GPS receiver that receives signals from satellites and calculates the location of your asset. Indoors it looks at the local WiFi and cell towers to determine your position. It then uses LTE technology to transmit this information to your smartphone or computer, giving you real-time updates on the location of your asset.
